Indexes Slip 2%, BG40 Hits 16-Month Low

All four indexes on BSE ended the first session in September down. SOFIX slipped 1.79% to 1009.61 points and BG40 fell 2.09%, closing at its lowest level since 10 May 2007, which is a 16-month low.
BGREIT and BGTR30 closed at 85.11 and 654.29 points, which is respectively 1.62% and 1.53% down from opening.
Total daily turnover stood at 3.3 mln leva (1.6 mln euros), of which 521,000 leva from OTC transactions.
One of the reasons for today's losses is the nearly 5% slide on the position of Orgachim to 163 leva/share. The price varied between 163 and 172.01 leva apiece today with massive sell-offs at the end of the day.
Chimimpot fell 3% to 8.05 leva, while Monbat lost 1.75% to 11.81 leva.
Sopharma closed at 4.18 leva, which is 3.86% down from opening. Neochim and Odessos Ship Repair Yard lost 1.22% and 4.18% respectively to 81 leva and 229 leva/share.
Synergon Holding and Severcoop Gamza Holding were among today's gainers. They added 1.36% and 7.12% respectively to 6.35 leva and 1.79 leva.
Nearly 2,000 shares in M+S Hydraulic changed hands today, climbing 1.05% to 6.75 leva/share.
