Stock Indexes' Streak of Gains Comes to a Halt
The winning streak of the Bulgarian stock indexes came to an end in the middle of the week. All four indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended today's session lower. The SOFIX blue-chip index closed 0.34% lower at 986.22 points.
The broader BG40 slipped by 0.75% to 240.76 points, while BG REIT and BG TR30 lost 0.76% and 0.83% to 84.92 points and 644.99 points, respectively.
BSE's trading turnover came to 3.53 mln leva. A total of 88 issues were traded today. The stocks of 22 of the companies ended the day with gains. The value of the over-the-counter deals sealed today amounted to 1.22 mln leva.
Lead & Zinc Complex's stock appreciated by 7.37% on the day. The trading volume on the position amounted to 1,392 shares while the average price of the stock settled at 26.2 leva per share.
Orgachim slipped by 0.06%. A total of 123 shares in the company changed hands on the day at an average price of 166.25 leva per share.
FIBank was the best performer among the banking stocks today. A total of 151,974 shares traded hands in the bank at an average price of 6.01 leva per share. The stock appreciated by 1.16% on the day.
FIBank applied today for a transfer of its issue from the Unofficial market to the Official market of the stock exchange.
Central Cooperative Bank was among BSE's decliners today. The stock of the company depreciated by 3.51%. The trading volume on the position amounted to 3,450 shares, while the average price of the stock settled at 3.32 leva apiece.
Corporate Commercial Bank's average stock price remained unchanged at 92 leva per share. The average price of the stock settled at 91.97 leva per share.
Agria Group Holding ended the day on positive territory. A total of 10,540 shares in the company changed hands on the day, while the stock appreciated by 1.1%. A total of 10,000 shares were transferred in a single transaction. The average price of the stock stood at 8.24 leva per share.
Kaolin (-2.9%, average price of 6.7 leva per share) and Toplivo (-1.26%, average price of 15.7 leva per share) were also among BSE's losers on the day.
Zarneni Hrani's stock price again dropped to under 2 leva per share. The last deal in the stock was sealed at a price 4.08% lower compared to the opening price. The trading volume on the position amounted to 130,078 shares while the average price of the stock settled at 1.96 leva per share.
