SOFIX Falls Nearly 3%, Following European Indexes in Losing Steak

SOFIX fell to its lowest level in more than two years on Monday, amid negative international news. The index slipped 2.93% to 931.02 points, getting close to 15 August levels (931.01).
BG40 slipped 2.96% to 227.3 points and BGREIT closed at 83.43, which is 0.83 % down from opening. BGTR30 was the biggest decliner today, losing 3.22% to close at 608.53 points.
BSE's turnover stood at 2.95 mln leva (1.5 mln euros) and the value of OTC transactions came to a little over 245 thousand leva. 108 stocks were traded today, 18 of which advanced.
We saw some serious losses on the Official Market of Equities today. Stara Planina Hold plunged 8.71% at a turnover of 3,060 shares. The average on the position stood at 3.52 leva, there were transactions at 3.3 leva as well.
Oil and Gas Exploration and Production tumbled 8.27% after 4,067 shares traded hands at an average of 6.2 leva/share.
Synergon Holding shares depreciated by some 8.18%. The average price on the position today was 5 leva apiece.
Chimimport shares fell below 7 leva. 957 shares changed hands at an average of 6.81 leva, which is a daily loss of 5.07%.
Orgachim returned under 160 leva. The stock lost 1.17% after 194 shares traded hands at an average of 158.78 leva.
Other decliners today are Doverie United Holding (-6.42%, average 6.39 leva), Sopharma (-5.59%, average 3.7 leva), Monbat (-5.2%, average 11.05 leva), etc.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria added 1.22% to 5.79 leva at a turnover of 1,050 shares.
Lead and Zinc Complex stayed unchanged after 3,802 shares traded hands at 25 leva apiece. Corporate Commercial Bank slipped 0.02%. 1,235 shares traded hands today at an average of 91.67 leva.
Neochim's loss seems mild on that background. Shares fell just 0.26% at a turnover of 2,230 at an average of 80.53 leva.
Toplivo closed on positive turf. 1,099 shares changed hands at an average of 15.08 leva, adding 0.11% for the day.
Eurohold Bulgaria shares returned below 4 leva, after plunging 6.87% today. 41,322 shares traded hands at an average of 3.95 leva.
Industrial Capital Holding was advancing all day, but a sudden turnaround occurred towards the end of the session and the stock closed at -3.79% (average 6.87 leva).
Large turnovers were traded on the following positions – Polimeri (-1.5%, average 3.15 leva), Enemona (-3.28%, average 16.11 leva) and Agria Group Holding (+2.33%, average 7.8 leva).
FIBank started the week in the red. The bank's stock depreciated by 3.26% after some 40,318 shares changed hands at an average of 5.9 leva.
