None of BG40's Stocks Posts Gain This Week

The slump deepened for the SOFIX and BG40 indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) a week prior to the changes in the two indexes are made. The indexes managed to pare some of the losses today but the week has not been good for them.
The SOFIX blue-chip index advanced by 1.72% today, while the broader BG40 closed 2.17% higher. The BG REIT and BG TR30 indexes added 1.12% and 1.24%, respectively.
The SOFIX lost 10.99% on a weekly basis dropping to 853.75 points. The indexes hit a 33-month low yesterday.
The BG40 index of the most traded stocks on BSE erased 11.69% of its value over the last five trading sessions ending the week at 206.86 points. This week the index record its third highest daily percentage drop ever.
The BGREIT lost slipped by 2.71% this week closing at 81.85 points. The BG TR30 index shed 9.81% over the last five days slipping to 567.07 points.
The SOFIX has lost 15.44% so far in September, while the BG40, the BGREIT and the BGTR30 have shed 15.91%, 3.83% and 13.33%, respectively.
No stock included in the calculation of the BG40 posted a gain this week. Polimeri's stock ended the week unchanged at an average of 3.2 leva per share.
M+S Hydraulic posted the smallest weekly loss of 0.9% to an average of 6.57 leva per share. Industrial Holding Bulgaria's stock depreciated by 2.76% to an average of 5.63 leva per share.
Corporate Commercial Bank's stock price declined by 3.16% from 91.86 leva per share last Friday to 88.96 leva per share a week later.
Euroins posted the biggest decline. Accidentally or not the drop in the stock price of the company coincided with the news on AIG's takeover by the U.S. Government. Euroins' stock depreciated by 22.95% on a weekly basis to an average of 5.07 leva per share.
Doverie United Holding's stock price went down by 22.06% over the week to an average 5.44 leva per share.
Sopharma's posted the third biggest decline this week. The stock of the company depreciated by 19.48% to an average of 3.1 leva per share.

The changes to the SOFIX and BG40 indexes will be introduced on September 23. The number of blue-chips on BSE will rise from 19 to 20 after Enemona's entry into the SOFIX.
Chugunoleene, Bulgarian River Shipping, Albena, M+S Hydraulic, Devin, Lomsko Pivo, Severcoop Gamza Holding, Zaharni Zavodi and Holding Varna will be excluded from the BG40 index.
They will be replaced by Holding Roads, Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria, Trace Group Hold, Enemeona, Billboard, Neochim, Favorit Hold, Polimeri and Oil & Gas Exploration & Production.
Aroma will remain part of the broader index even though trade in the stock of the company has been suspended since the beginning of August.
