The performance of the indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) coincided to a great extent with the advance of the European and Asian stocks.

Three of BSE's four indexes ended today's session on positive territory. The SOFIX blue-chip index advanced by 1.03% to 855.46 points to recover part of yesterday's losses.

The BG40 index of most traded stocks on BSE ended the day 1.47% higher at 207.28 points. The BGREIT index added 0.64% to its value. Closing at 81.69 points.

The BGTR30 index of best performers in total return was the only decliner among the indexes today. The index slipped by 0.94%, to 562.93 points.

BSE's total trading turnover amounted to 4.06 mln leva on the day. The value of the over-the-counter deals stood at 2.15 mln leva. A total of 97 issues were traded today with 51 of the companies posting gains.

Nearly all blue chips advanced today. Albena AD was among SOFIX's best performers on the day. The stock of the company appreciated by 9.28%, to 57.50 leva per share. The trading volume on the position came to a mere 22 shares. The average price of the stock came to 57.30 leva per share at the close.

Sopharma posted the biggest trading volume on BSE today – 235,134 shares. The price of the stock remained unchanged at 3.07 leva per share.

Central Cooperative Bank was also among BSE's advancers on the day. The stock price of the bank went up by 5.79%, to 3.07 leva er share. The trading volume on the position came to 26,868 shares while the average price of the stock settled at 2.96 leva per share.

Other gainers today included: Odessos Ship Repair Yard (+6.01%, average price of 208.55 leva per share and Monbat (+3.09%, average price of 9.97 leva per share).

Industrial Holding Bulgaria was among the few losers in the SOFIX today. The stock of the company depreciated by 3.08%, to 5.28 leva per share, after a total of 3,596 shares traded hands.

The market vale of M+S Hydraulic and Corporate Commercial Bank declined by 0.73% and 0.47%, respectively.

The news that Trace Group Hold is opening a representative office in Russia to take part in the infrastructure projects for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics coincided with the advance in the company's stock price. The stock ended the day 2.64% higher at 73.90 leva per share. The average price settled at 72.65 leva per share.
