At 12:30 today (October 2) officials in National Agency Road Infrastructure began unsealing the tender papers for construction of Trakiya Highway Lot 3. All offers were opened by 15:40. A total of 8 companies filed bids.

There are three public companies among them – Trace Hold Group (in Trakiya Trace Union), Holding Roads and Moststroy (Trakiya Union).

The tender bids were submitted in the following order: Doj inshaat ve tijaret Jsc, Actor Jsc, Consortium Kabile (AM Cherno More, GBS Infrastructural Construction, Glavbolgarstroy and Patstroy), Onur Taahut Tashamajalak, Trace Trakiya Union (Trace Group Hold, SK 13 Hold – Ing, Varna Raods and Bridges and Road Constcrution Dobrcih), Trakiya Union (Holding Roads, Road Construction Veliko Tarnovo, AB-AD Haskovo, Razgrad Road Construction Company, Granit 97, Patengineering Targovishte, Moststroy, Hodrostroy Jsc Varna), Consortium Strabag (Strabag AG and ISA 2000) and Alpine BAU Gmbh.

The LOT 3 Section of Trakiya Highway runs from Nova Zagora to Yambol. It is of km 241+900 to 277+597 (overlaps with km 276+200 of LOT 4). The section is an extension of LOT 2 (Stara Zagora – Nova Zagora) with a road junction on road ІІІ-534 on km 242+355.40.

The highway section runs through the territory of two districts – Sliven and Yambol. They will have seven highway overpasses and three underpasses.
