SOFIX Plunges to 595 Points
Trading on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange kicked off today with new sell offs, while the SOFIX blue-chip index plunged to under 600 points.
Half an hour after the start of the trade the SOFIX is losing 9.08%, to 595.00 points, while the BG40 is 7.96%, to 153.30 points.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria is among the biggest decliners among the blue chips so far today. The stock price of the company is 12.60% down, to 4.30 leva per share. Central Cooperative bank is losing 14.47% to 2.01 leva per share, while Monbat is down 11.45%, to 5.80 leva.
Chimimport's stock has shed 5.7% of its value, to 3.89 leva so far today, while Sopharma is 6.28% down to 2.2 leva.
Eurohold Bulgaria, Kaolin and Enemona are down 12.56%, 13.26% and 11.33%, respectively.
Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria is traded below par value at 0.93 leva per share, while the turnover on the position amounts to 26,000 shares. The IPO price of the stock stood at 4.5 leva per share in December 2007.
