SOFIX Back to 2004 Levels

A very tough week for investors on BSE has just ended. SOFIX wiped out 22.12% in just five days, returning to levels from four years ago. After today's 8.36% plunge the blue chips index closed at 585.39 points.
BG40 slipped 7.35% to 152.21 points. The indicator is down 18.11% on a weekly basis.
BGREIT closed at 62.84 points, which is 5.12% down from opening and BGTR30 lost 6.78% to 403.92 points. The indexes fell 17.81% and 18.37% for the week.
BSE's daily turnovers this week improved significantly compared to previous ones. The total figure stood at 6.71 mln leva (3.43 mln euros) today. The value of OTC transactions was at 541,000 leva at 14:31h.
39 out of the 40 stocks in BG40 post weekly losses. The only advancing stock within the broad index is Petrol (+22.99% to 6.9 leva).
BACB suffered one of the most serious losses. Shares plunged by 44.97% in the five days between October 3 and 10 to 13.47 leva.
Enemona depreciated by 37.71% this week. The stock closed at 8.39 leva today against 13.47 leva on October 3.
Elhim Iskra fell to 2 leva today, which is a slide of 30.31% compared with last Friday.
