Business Calendar October 13-17

The week will start off with a general shareholders’ meeting of Energoremont Holding. The shareholders will discuss the distribution of the company’s profit for 2007.
A total of 2.19 mln leva of the profit will be allocated to the Other Reserves, while other 349,000 leva will be transferred to the General reserves. The shareholders will put to vote a proposal for the distribution of 192,000 leva as dividend, or 0.05 leva per share.
Lomski Pivo and Katex will start paying dividends two days later.
Lomsko Pivo will distribute 450,000 leva as dividend (0.10 leva gross dividend per share), while Katex shareholders will receive 0.30 leva gross dividend per share.
Lomsko Pivo also plans to raise its capital from 4.5 mln leva to 6 mln leva per share through the offering of 1.5 mln new shares with 2.50 leva issue value each.
The company will raise a total of 3.75 mln leva, if all shares get subscribed and paid.
At least 500,000 new shares have to be subscribed and paid in order for the capital raise to be considered a success.
Trade in the initial capital raise issue of Ulpina REIT will kick off on October 16 (Thursday) on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE).
The REIT will invest both in secured and non-secured receivables, as well as in government securities and bank deposits.
BSE’s SOFIX blue-chip index slumped by 22.12% to 585.39 points over the past week, while the broader BG40 shed 18.11% to 152.21 points.
