The SOFIX blue-chip index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) advanced by 12.97% to 678.70 points shortly after the start of today's session, while the broader BG40 gained 11.38%, to 176.63 points.

Industrial Holding Bulgaria and Chimimport gained over 20% in early trading today to 5.23 and 4.84 leva per share, respectively.

Sparky Eltos's stock price went up by 19.05%, to 5.00 leva per share, while Orgachim and Sopharma's stock appreciated by 17.18 and 10.80%, respectively, to 118.00 and 2.33 leva per share.

Synergon holding is 12.65% up to 4.00 leva per share, while Monbat's stock has gained over 15%, to 6.99 leva.

The other holding companies are also trading higher. Eurohold Bulgaria is 18% up, to 2.95 leva per share, while Albena Invest Holding's stock has appreciated by 13%, to 7.30 leva per share.

The banking stocks are also among BSE's advancers today. First Investment Bank is trading 14% higher at 4 leva per share, while the market capitalization of Central Cooperative Bank and Corporate Commercial Bank is 16 and 10% up, respectively.

The trading turnover in the early session amounts to 1 mln leva.
