BSE Indexes Post Losses in Second Straight Day

All four indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended the day in negative territory for the second straight day today.
The SOFIX blue-chip index lost 5.26% closing at 607.74 points after losing more than 10% in the early session. The broader BG40 index slipped by 4.27% to 161.71 points. The BG REIT and BG TR30 indexes declined by 0.02% and 4.24% to 64.6 and 419.26 points, respectively.
BSE\'s daily turnover came to 5.2 mln. leva, while the value of the over-the-counter deals exceeded 392 000 leva as at 2:00 p.m. A total of 110 issues were traded today with 26 of the stocks ending the day higher.
There were a few advancers on BSE\'s Official market today. Albena Invest Holding closed 1.79% higher at 6.82 leva per share. The trading volume on the position came to 500 shares.
A total of 1,894 shares in Petrol changed hands on the day, while the stock appreciated by 14.39% to 7.95 leva per share. Oil & Gas Exploration & Production closed 3.02% higher at 5.15 leva per share. The trading volume came to 606 shares.
Some of today\'s decliners included Industrial Holding Bulgaria (-5.55%, to 4.25 leva per share), Synergon Holding (-7.61%, to 3.52 leva per share) and Stara Planina Hold (-6.41%, to 2.35 leva per share). The latter launched yesterday a share buyback procedure for the repurchasing of 105,000 shares at prices ranging between 2.15 and 2.8 leva per share.
Chimimport also ended today\'s session in negative territory. The stock depreciated by 8.41% to 4.03 leva per share, while the trading volume amounted to 75,122 shares.
Sparky Eltos\' market capitalization declined by 10.22% with its stock ending the day at 4.04 leva per share. A total of 7,002 shares in the company traded hands today.
Monbat slipped by 3.42%, to 6.5 leva per share, while the trading volume on the position came to 42,563 shares.
Other decliners included Sopharma (-2.74%, to 2.16 leva per share), Bulgarska-Roza Sevtopolis (-2%, to 0.98 leva per share) and Doverie United Holding (-0.53%, to 5.8 leva per share).
Elhim Iskra\'s market capitalization slipped by 3.04%, while Hydraulic Elements & Systems skidded 22.12% lower. М+S Hydraulic advanced by 9.17% to 6.55 leva per share.
Toplivo\'s stock price went down by 8.91%, to 9.92 leva per share.
The banking stocks traded on BSE also posted losses on the day. Central Cooperative Bank\'s stock price dropped by 5.83%, to 2.26 leva per share. First Investment Bank shed 4.82% to 3.69 leva per share, while Corporate Commercial Bank slipped by 3.17% to 73 leva per share. BACB posted the biggest decline of 8%, to 23 leva per share.
The infrastructure stocks ended the day mixed. Moststroy was the only advancer in the sector. The stock of the company went up by 3.95% to 10.4 leva per share. Holding Roads slipped by 8.46% to 11.9 leva per share, while Trace Group Hold closed 5.49% lower at 54.91 leva per share.
