Monbat generated 14. 62 mln leva net incomes from sales in September, which represents a 14.43-percent growth, compared to September 2007, the company said. The summarized data for the first nine months of 2008 show that the company has generated net incomes from sales to the amount of 135.15 mln leva, which represents a growth of 59.15 % compared to the same period of 2007.

The profit generated by Monbat for September 2008 is amounts to 2.57 mln leva, which represents a profit growth of 11.86 % compared to September 2007. The summarized data for the first nine months of 2008 show that the company has generated profit to the amount of 23.3 mln leva, which represents a profit growth of 87.33 % compared to the same period of 2007.

The generated net incomes from sales only for the third quarter are to the amount of 41.674 mln leva and the generated profit for the same period is 7.94 mln leva.

The Management Board of Monbat had forecast net sales income of 43.5 mln leva for the third quarter of 2008 alone and 8.7 mln leva profit before taxes. The net income sales forecast for the first nine months of 2008 stands at 136.98 mln leva and 24.04 mln leva profit before taxes.

The non-fulfillment of the forecasts, made by the management may be put down to the sharp decrease of price of lead, which in turn resulted in lower prices for the products of the company.

The Management Board of the company will not make any changes to the annual consolidated forecasts. The Management Board will assess whether it is necessary to reconsider the consolidated forecasts for 2008 after the company presents the consolidated report for the third quarter of 2008.
