Three of the four official BSE indexes closed in negative territory today – SOFIX (-1.97%, 513.12 points), BG40 (-0.8%, 146.22 points) and BGTR30 (-0.34%, 373.61 points).

BGREIT was the only advancing indicator (+4.72%, 56.31 points).

BSE's daily turnover reached 11.82 mln leva (6.04 mln euros). The bulk of this figure (nearly 10 mln leva) was formed in trade in corporate bonds. Turnover from transactions in shares almost reached 2 mln leva.

As at 14:53h the value of OTC transactions was 1.34 mln leva.

A total of 88 stocks were traded today, 38 of which closed in positive turf.

Oil and Gas Exploration and Production gained some 13.11% to 4.9 leva. Some 1,327 shares changed hands on the position. The company reported Jan – Sept non-consolidated profit in the amount of 6.51 mln leva (3.32 mln euros), which translates into 0.53 leva/share. This is also an 18.4% hike y/y. Net sales revenues rose by nearly 49%, compared to September 2007 to 25.25 mln leva (12.9 mln euros).

Balgraska Roza Sevtopolis added 5.67% to 0.8 leva at a turnover of 854 shares. The company posted Q3 report today. Profit shrinks from 936,000 leva to 532,000 leva.

Net sales revenues of the Kazanlak-based company are down from 9.52 mln to 9.37 mln leva. Costs on economic elements rose from 8.37 mln to 9 mln leva.

Sopharma is also among today's gainers. The stock appreciated by 3.97% to 2.2 leva at a turnover of 14,138 shares.

Doverie United Holding gained 1.54% to 6.6 leva. The holding's non-consolidated earnings rose to 5.35 mln leva, compared with 359,000 leva a year ago.

The hike is attributed mainly to revenue from dividend, which amounted to 5.4 mln leva for Jan – Sept, against 437,000 leva for the corresponding period a year ago.

Elhim Iskra appreciated by 1.8% to 2.26 leva. Some 4,658 shares traded hands today.

The company reported a two-fold hike in Jan – Sept earnings yesterday, from 1.76 mln leva to 3.41 mln leva (1.74 mln euros), or 0.27 leva/share.

The list of today's gainers also includes Lead and Zinc Complex (+3.77%, last transaction at 12.43 leva), Synergon Holding (+3.67%, 3.25 leva), Eurohold Bulgaria (+2.26%, 2.26 leva), Enemona (+1.4%, 8 leva), Toplivo (+1.17%, 9.11 leva), etc.

Stara Planina Hold saw its market capitalization expand by 0.19% to 2.1 leva/share. It emerged today that the company successfully bought back 105,000 shares, or 05% of the capital.

Industrial Holding Bulgaria shares dipped 4.62% to 3.05 leva at a turnover of 16,965 shares. Chimimport lost 0.23% to 3 leva and Neochim is down 4.11% to 70 leva.

Banks' shares ended mixed. Central Cooperative Bank (-5.6%, 1.4 leva) and BACB (-3.05%, 18.13 leva) closed on negative territory, while FIBank advanced (+2.75%, 3.77 leva) and Corporate Commercial Bank closed flat at 65.5 leva.

Trace Group Hold is the only infrastructural company to close higher today. Hares added 0.39% to 51 leva. Moststroy fell 1.24% to 7.9 leva and Holding Roads plunged 8.85% to 9.48 leva.

Meanwhile European indexes advanced with the exception of the German DAX. Stocks in the US and in Asia are up as well.
