The week of the hundreds of company reports is over. Some of the companies surprise investors pleasantly, others not so much. Unfortunately theere is hardly anything new we could say about the condition of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE).

The SOFIX ended today session under the 500-point mark for the first time since June 2004. The blue-chip index lost 1.93%, to 492.18 points. The BG40 index of the most traded stocks shed 3.03% to 141.24 points. The BG TR30 index of best performers in total return lost 2.1% of ots value closing at 359.11 points. The BGREIT index was the only one to end the day on positive territory advancing by 3.72% to 54.93 points.

The indexes posted weekly losses. The SOFIX shed 10.19%, the BG40 skidded 5.6% lower, the BG REIT declined by 4.22%, while the BG TR30 lost 6.63%.

The four indexes posted monthly losses as well. The biggest declier is SOFIX which erased 38.7% of its value in October. BG40's losses deepend last month after the index declined by 28.88%. The BG REIT and BG TR30 are 29.8% and 32.53% down, respectively.

A total of nine of BG40's stocks posted weekly gains in terms of average share price. Trade in Aromа continues to be suspended. The biggest advancer over the last five sessions is TK Hold. The stock of the company adbanced by 24.44%, to 3.92 leva per share.

The holding company booked 741,000 non-consolidated profit as at September 30, compared to 1.09 mln leva a year earlier. TK Hold's revenue from dividends came to 621,000 leva, compared to 105,000 for the year-ago period.

Polimeri's stock price went up by 9.31% for the week to 2.23 leva per share. The company posted 1.43 mln leva profit for the first nine months of the year. The profit of the company for the period January-September 2007 stood at 14,000 leva.

Favorit Hold advanced by 8.7% to an average of 6 leva per share The company reduced its loss to 5,000 leva for the first nine months of 2008, compared to 93,000 leva loss for the year-ago period.

Holding Roads was among BSE's decliners over the past five trading sessions. The stock of the company depreciated by 34.05%, to 8 leva per share. Trade in the new shares issued as part of the capital raise of Holding Roads will kick off on BSE on Tuesday.

Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) lost 31.18% of its market value this week. The average price of the stock settled at 1.28 leva per share at the end of today's session. CCB booked 10.25 mln leva profit as at September 30, 2008, compared to 18.53 mln leva a year earlier.

Industrial Holding Bulgaria's stock shed 24.55% this week to 2.92 leva per share. The offering of 218,780 convertible bonds of the holding company has been completed successfuly, it emerged today. The company raised a total of 21.6 mln leva.
