BG40 Index Advances by 4.79% Today

A positive session for the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) has come to an end. This time the sentiment on the Bulgarian capital market coincided with that on the western markets.
The BG40 index of the most traded stocks on BSE advanced by 4.79% to 145.37 points. The BG REIT index ended the day 1.12% higher at 55.14 points. The BG TR30 index of best performers in total return added 0.93% to its value closing at 357.91 points. The SOFIX blue-chip index was the only one to end the day in negative territory. The index slipped by 0.45% to 480.33 points.
BSE's overall turnover came to 2.45 mln leva, while the value of the over-the-counter deals exceeded 1 mln leva. A total of 90 issued were traded today with 58 of the companies posting an increase in stock price.
Chimimport's stock price advanced sharply by 12.74% to 3.01 leva per share. A total of 118,400 shares in the company changed hands on the day.
Petrol's stock price went up by 13.07%, to 8.4 leva per share, while the volume on the position came to 18,277 shares. Stara Planina Hold's stock recovered 11.11% of its value to 2.2 leva per share.
Orgachim's stock price went back to over 100 leva per share. The stock appreciated by 9.56%, 103 leva per share after 176 shares traded. Odessos Shiprepair Yard ended the day 9% higher. The market capitalization of the company went up by 9.15% to 158.26 leva per share.
Favorit Hold was one of the biggest advancers today. The stock of the company appreciated by 37% to 6.85 leva per share. TK Hold closed 30.48% higher at 4.11 leva per share.
Elma gained 8.87% to 2.76 leva per share, while Emka advanced by 8.59% to 2.3 leva per share.
Eurohold Bulgaria's stock appreciated by 3.32% to 2.24 leva per share. A total of 43,435 shares in the company traded hands on the day. Euroins gained 3.33% to 3.1 leva per share.
Other gainers today included Central Cooperative Bank (+6.95%, to 1.4 leva per share), First Investment Bank (+1.6%, to 3.95 leva per share), Corporate Commercial Bank (+2.06%, to 67 leva per share) and Bulgarian American Credit bank (+5.55%, to 19 leva per share).
Holding Roads (-30%, to 4.9 leva per share) was among the companies that dragged the SOFIX down today. The stock was traded even at a prices of 3.46 leva per share earlier today. The trade in the new shares issued as part of the capital raise of the company kicked off on BSE today.
Moststroy closed 1.5% higher at 6.7 leva per share, while Trace Group Hold's stock appreciated by 5.26% to 50 leva per share).
M+S Hydraulic's stock shed 12.05% to 5.1 leva per share. Lead & Zinc Complex's stock depreciated by 4.05% to 11 leva per share.
