Yet another negative trading session on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) has come to an end. The SOFIX blue-chip index posted its fourth straight decline today losing 1.98%, to 456.73 points. The BG40 index of the most traded stocks shed 2.31%, to 139.11 points, while the BG TR30 index of best performers in total return lost 2.3% to 346.99 points. The BG REIT index was the only one to end the day higher. The index advanced by 0.13%, to 53.15 points.

BSE's overall turnover came to 2.16 mln leva today. The value of the deals on the Unofficial market stood at 641,340 leva. A total of 92 issues were traded on the day, while 27 of the company posted an increase in stock price. The value of the over-the-counter deals totaled 1.16 mln leva as at 02:20 p.m. BSE's market capitalization dropped to under 13 bln leva.

Industrial Holding Bulgaria's stock appreciated by 2.65% to 2.67 leva per share. A total of 6 331 shares in the company traded hands on the day.

The other two holding companies listed on segment A of BSE's Official market shed more than 5% of their market value. Stara Planina Holding's stock depreciated by 5.43% to 2.07 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 136 shares. Synergon Holding shed 5.17% to 2.75 leva per share.

Lead&Zinc Complex's stock shed 17.31% of their value ending the day at 9.5 leva per share. Orgachim also ended the day lower. The stock of the company lost 3.09% of its value, closing the day at 94 leva per share.

Other decliners today also included Chimimport (-4.47%, to 2.82 leva per share), Petrol (-4.7%, to 9 leva per share), Sparky Eltos (-7.12%, to 3.65 leva per share), Sopharma (-1.71%, to 2.12 leva per share) and Oil&Gas Exploration & Production (-9.52%, to 4.34 leva per share).

The banking stocks closed today's session mixed. Central Cooperative Bank advanced by 1.61% to 1.27 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 66,735 shares. Bulgarian American Credit Bank's stock ended the day 2.22% higher at 18.4 leva per share. Decliners among banks today included Corporate Commercial Bank (-2.41%, to 69 leva per share) and First Investment Bank (-2.41%, to 3.65 leva per share).

Infrastructure company also posted losses today. Moststroy's stock depreciated by 4.63% to 6.39 leva per share. Holding Roads shed 4.41% to 3.9 leva per share, while Trace Group Hold lost 2.08% ending the day at 47 leva per share.

Neochim's stock price went down by 7.94% to 58.1 leva per share. Toplivo added 1.27% on the day.
