A total of 16,235 deals were sealed in the 17 sessions on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in December. The total value of the transactions stood at 241.29 mln leva, BSE data show.

Only nine investment intermediaries sealed over 1,000 transactions each in December. Karoll tops the ranking with 5,680 deals, followed by BenchMark Finance and First Financial Brokerage House (FFBH) with 3,254 and 2,059 transactions respectively.

Elana Trading ranks fourth, followed by Ug Market, Sofia International Securities (SIS), Capman, EFG Securities and Zagora Finacorp.

UniCredit Bulbank topped the ranking in terms turnover for december (146.9 mln leva), followed by Investbank and Raiffeisenbank with 87.39 mln leva and 41.79 mln leva turnover, respectively.

Real Finance occupies the number four spot with a turnover of 41.17 mln leva. Central Cooperative Bank and Tokuda Bank ranked fifth and sixth, respectively.
