Trade in the rights of two real estate investment trusts will kick off on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) today - Balkan & Sea Properties and Energetics & Energy Savings Fund.

Balkan & Sea Properties plans to hike its capital from 650,000 leva to 5.333 mln leva through the issuing of 4.683 mln shares. For the purpose a total of 650,000 rights will be issued, each allowing the subscription of 7.2 new shares with 5.20 leva par value apiece.

At least 325,000 new shares have to be subscribed an paid in order for the capital to be increased.

FEEI in turn launches today a procedure to hike its capital from 972,000 leva to 1.458 mln leva. The issues amounts to 486,135 leva allocated in as many shares, each with 1 and 1.50 leva par and issue value, respectively.

On Tuesday (February 10) investors' interest will be focused on the auction for the unused rights of PRC REIT. The company plans to raise its capital from 5.85 mln leva to 11.7 mln leva.

The deadline for the subscription of the new shares is set for February 25.

The general shareholders' meeting of Oil & Gas Exploration & Production is scheduled for Thursday (February 12). The shareholders will put to vote a proposal for the transformation of the company through the merging of Bulgarian Drilling Company, Geophysical Services, Petro Gas Antika and Chimiport Oil into their sole owner.

The SOFIX blue-chip index shed 4.98%, to 272.52 points, last week, while the broader BG40 lost 1.64%, to 89.60 points.
