The yet another slump of the U.S. Stock markets on Thursday will hardly be able to shake the investors on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) out of the lethargy, Dimitar Georgiev, broker at Elena Trading, told Profit.bg.

Today's trading will probably be tedious with extremely low activity. Despite the almost completely lost correlation with the international stock markets the bears may be expected to prevail today, especially in the beginning of the session, Georgiev added.

The major U.S. Indexes dropped to yesterday to theit lowest levels in more than 12 years.

Dow Jones shed 281.40 points, or 4.1%, to 6,594.44 points, which was its lowest close since April 1997.

BSE's SOFIX blue-chip index yesterday advanced by 1.21%, to 268.54 points, posting its second gains this week. The index of the most traded stocks BG40 added 1.55% to its value, closing at 86.96 points.
