Holding Roads is not only the most liquid stock on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) last week but in the entire month of February, the monthly bulleting of the bourse shows.

A total of 1,043 transactions in the company's stocks were sealed in February (up by 44% compared to January). The total traded volume on the position came to 266,059 shares last month, while the turnover amounted to 483,470 leva.

The infrastructure company was among the five most traded stocks on BSE in January. The number of trades came to 725 in January. The volume on the position amounted to 166, 883 shares, while the turnover totaled 413,560 leva.

Holding Roads' stock appreciated by 16.3%, from 1.96 leva to 2.28 leva per share, in the period January 30 to February 27.

Chimimport was the second most liquid company on BSE in February. A total of 1,026 trades were sealed in the stock of the company (down by 35% compared to January). The number of shares traded stood at 792,318, while the turnover amounted to 982,900 leva.

Chimimport's depreciated by 12.4%, from 1.37 leva to 1.20 leva per share last month.

Lead & Zinc Complex rounded out the top three of the most liquid stocks on BSE with 804 trades, 76,697 shares traded, and 440,530 turnover. The stock of the company lost nearly five% of its value, from 6.27 leva to 5.97 leva.

Eurohold Bulgaria and Monbat ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.
