French vehicle maker Renault Trucks, a part of Volvo Group, will expand its network in Bulgaria by

opening a new trade centre in Plovdiv and service facilities in Bourgas (on Black Sea), Haskovo (Southern Bulgaria) and Pleven (Northwestern Bulgaria).

The company has been in Bulgaria since 2008, it has authorized services in Sofia and Varna (on Black Sea) and has over 10 million euro direct investments in this country. Bulgaria is the first East European country, where Renault Trucks is building up its own structure.

Despite the global crisis, the company plans to increase sales and expand the market share in the country as well as an increase in after-sale services. Renault Trucks offers a wide range of trucks, from 2.8 to 70 tonnes capacity.

"The implementation of the major infrastructure projects, as well as the construction of Trakia, Lyulin and Strouma motorways and of Belene N-Plant are as important for us, as they are for Bulgaria" Renault Trucks Commercial Bulgaria CEO Stefano Ciccone said.
