The two major indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) SOFIX and BG40 posted advances on the first day of April. The blue-chip index gained 0.61%, to 279.97 points, while the index of the most traded stocks added 0.32%, to 87.46 points.

BGREIT and BGTR30, shed 2.12% and 0.04%, to 39.32 points and 208.77 points, respectively.

A total of 78 issues were traded today with 41 of the companies posting stock price gains.

BSE's overall turnover came to 6.085 mln leva with the turnover of the Unofficial bond market accounted for 2.43 mln leva of the figure. The value of the over-the-counter deals exceeded 1.7 mln leva as at 2:45 p.m.

Synergon Holding was today's biggest advancer on segment A of BSE's Official market. The stock of the company appreciated by 8.07%, to 1.70 leva per share. The turnover on the position totaled 3,753 shares.

Albena Invest Holding's stock depreciated by 4.77%, to 3.31 leva per share, after only 42 stocks traded.

Doverie United Holding was the biggest decliner on BSE's Official market today. The stock depreciated by 9.25%, to 3.62 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to a mere 75 shares.

Some of today's biggest advancers included Sopharma (+6.08%, to 1.92 leva), Monbat (7.79%, to 3.85 leva) and Polimeri (11.45%, to 1.45 leva).

The stock of Central Cooperative Bank depreciated by 1.14%, to 0.87 leva per share after 23,375 shares traded. First Investment Bank skidded by 3.03%, to 1.60 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 2,150 shares.

Corporate Commercial Bank's stock price remained unchanged at 65 leva per share after 3,070 shares traded. No trades were sealed on the position of Bulgarian-American Credit Bank.

The infrastructure stocks traded on BSE ended today's session mixed. Holding Roads' stock price remained unchanged at 2.10 leva per share after 699 shares traded.

Moststroy's stock appreciated by 4.31%, to 2.40 leva per share. Trace Group Hold slipped by 1.84% to 32 leva per share.

The stock of the one of the newest members of BG40 Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT depreciated by 5.88%, to 0.80 leva per share after 31,951 shares traded.
