No trading sessions will take place on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) today (April 13) and on Friday (April 17). This is in compliance with the trading calendar of the Xetra trading platform.

There will be no trading sessions on May 16 (Saturday), May 30 (Saturday) and September 26 (Saturday), according to the same calendar.

May 4 (Monday), May 5 (Tuesday), September 21 (Monday) are official holidays and on these days there will be no trading sessions on BSE as well.

The general shareholders' meeting of Slancho AD is scheduled for today. The shareholders will put to vote a proposal for the distribution of the company's profit for 2008.

The general shareholders' meeting of Expat Estates REIT will take place on Tuesday. The main topic on the agenda will be the shutting down of the fund and its liquidation. This will be the second REIT after Hyundai Finance REIT to shut down operations.

The general shareholders' meeting of insurance company Bulstrad will take place on Wednesday (April 15). The shareholders will discuss the capital increase of the company (from 19.74 mln leva to 21.534 mln leva through the issuing of 179,000 new ordinary voting shares with 10 and 56 leva par and issue value, respectively.

Other items on the agenda include change of the name of the company from Bulstrad to Bulstrad Vienna Insurance Group, as well as a proposal for the distribution of the financial result of the company for 2008.

The deadline for the subscription of shares issued as part of the capital raise of CCB Real Estate Fund REIT and Capital Managament REIT.

BSE's SOFIX blue-chip index advanced by 2.27% last week, to 302.31 points, while the broader BG40 gained 1.63%, to 90.17 points.
