Today session of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) went according to the expectations of Optima Asset Management's investment consultant Detelin Yordanov. In view of the what is happening on the global markets it is normal for the euphoria on BSE slightly to cool down, according to Yordanov. The consultant told Profit.bg that he expected profit collecting to dominate today's session.

The SOFIX blue-chip index slipped by 0.57%, to 308.05 points today, while the broader BG40 shed 1.32%, to 90.15 points.

BGREIT and BGTR30 lost 0.71% and 1.54%, to 40.41 points and 224.40 points, respectively.

BSE's overall turnover came to 1.13 mln leva, while the value of the over-the-counter deals amounted to 1.42 mln leva as at 2:20 p.m.

A total of 86 issues were traded on the day with 23 of the companies posting stock price gains. The market capitalization of 11 of the traded companies remained unchanged, while the stock prices of 51 companies declined.

BSE's market capitalization amounted to 10.29 bln leva as at the end of today's session.

All four holding companies traded on segment A of BSE's Official market posted stock price declines. Industrial Holding Bulgaria's stock shed 5.66% of its value. The last traded on the position was sealed at a price of 1.65 leva per share. The traded volume came to nearly 49,000 shares.

Stara Planina Hold also posted a considerable stock price decline. The stock of the company depreciated by 6.88%, to 1.42 leva. A total of 2,400 shares in the company traded hands on the day.

The general shareholders' meeting of the company is scheduled for June 23. The shareholders are expected to put to vote a proposal for the distribution of the profit of the company for 2008. The shareholders received 0.01 leva gross dividend per share a year earlier, and 0.14 leva gross dividend per share for 2006.

The stock prices of Central Cooperative Bank (-0.51%, to 0.98 leva), Corporate Commercial Bank (-0.15%, to 64.90 leva) and First Investment Bank (+0.38%, to 1.86 leva) were slightly changed. Bulgarian-American Credit Bank's stock depreciated by 1.18% to 8.40 leva per share.

Chimimport slipped by 0.26%, to 1.93 leva per share. A total of 32,911 shares in the company traded hands on the day.

Monbat skidded 0.24% lower, to 4.19 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 16,198 shares.

Sparky Eltos' stock price went up by 2.33% after 48,995 shares traded hands on the day.

Sopharma shed 0.49%, to 2.05 leva per share. Eurohold Bulgaria's stock advanced by 1.96%, to 1.05 leva per share. The traded volume on the position amounted to 5,768 shares.

A total of 30,000 shares in Lavena changed hands today. The stock appreciated by 0.67%, to 15.00 leva per share.

Billboard's stock price went down by 1.67%, to 1.18 leva per share. The traded volume came to 17 266 shares.

Infrastructure companies ended today's session lower - Holding Roads (-0.67%, to 2.22 leva), Moststroy (-1.57%, to 2.50 leva) and Trace Group Hold (-1.11%, to 35.49 leva).
