Following the sell-offs in the beginning of today's session, which were in thin volumes, the indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) spent some time in negative territory but eventually three of the indexes managed to end the day with gains.

The SOFIX blue-chip index advanced by 2.21%, to 343.78 points, while the index of the most traded stocks BG 40 gained 1.40%, to 98.52 points.

BG TR30 closed 1.99% up, at 254.06 points, while BGREIT slipped by 0.50%, to 39.47 points.

BSE's overall turnover exceeded 2.57 mln leva, while the value of the over-the-counter deals amounted to 1.197 mln leva as at 2:30 p.m.

A total of 83 issues were traded on the day with 37 of the stocks posting price gains.

The banks traded on BSE were among the strongest performers on the day. Central Cooperative Bank's stock price went up by 7.28%, to 1.21 leva per share, after 157 284 shares traded.

First Investment Bank's stock appreciated by 6.66%, to 2.26 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 73,771 shares.

Corporate Commercial Bank's stock price remained unchanged at 65.00 leva after only 152 shares traded. The traded volume on the position of Bulgarian-American Credit Bank amounted to 25,048 shares. The last trade was sealed at a price of 9.61 leva per share, or 2.67% above the opening price.

Stara Planina Hold (-3.03%, to 1.60 leva) and Industrial Holding Bulgaria were among the decliners on segment A of BSE's Official market. The stocks of Albena Invest Holding and Synergon Holding appreciated by 5.19% and 3.54%, to 3.65 and 2.05 leva per share, respectively.

Sparky Eltos was the biggest advancer on BSE's Official market today. The stock of the company gained 12.90%, to 1.75 leva per share after 15,328 shares traded. The traded volume on the position of Chimimport came to 133,858 shares. The stock added 3.14% to its value, to 2.27 leva per share.

A total of 186,000 shares in Alcomet traded hands on the day. The stock appreciated by 15.14%, to 1.73 leva per share.

Infrastructure stocks traded mixed on the day. Trace Group Hold's stock advanced by 9.21%, to 41.50 leva per share. Moststroy's stock price remained unchanged at 3.00 leva per share.

Holding Roads was among today's decliners after the stock of the company depreciated by 1.60%, to 2.46 leva per share. The traded volume on the position reached 16,501 shares.

Forucom posted the biggest traded volume and the biggest stock price advance among the REITs traded on BSE. The stock of the company appreciated by 150%, to 3.00 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 180,700 shares.
