Three of BSE's Indexes Post Weekly Gains

The week of the quarterly reports on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended with gains for three of the indexes. The major indexes got off to a losing start this week but managed to reverse the losses and post weekly advances.
The SOFIX blue-chip index gained 3.62% to 358.51 points today. The broader BG40 advanced by 2.50%, to 99.60 points, while BG TR30 closed the session 2.66% up, at 262.38 points. BG REIT was the only decliner on the day slipping by 0.81%, to 38.99 points.
SOFIX, BG40 and BG TR30 posted weekly gains of 3.22%, 0.40% and 2.72%, respectively. BG REIT lost 1.39% for the past four sessions.
Most of the indexes posted monthly gains for the second straight month. The monthly advances are as follows: SOFIX (+28.83%), BG40 (+14.25%) and BG TR30 (+25.62%). SOFIX ended its best month in eight years, while BG40 posted its biggest monthly gain in the last 18 months.
BG REIT shed nearly 3% of its value in April.
A total of the companies included in the calculation of BG40 posted weekly gains. BACB was the best performer this week advancing by 13.48% to an average price of 11.2 leva per share.
Eurohold Bulgaria was BG40's best performer over the last four trading sessions. The average stock price of the company went up by 15.38%, to 1.35 leva per share.
BACB's average stock price rose by 13.48% on a weekly basis, to 11.20 leva per share.
Industrial Capital Holding advanced by 10.43% to an average of 2.54 leva per share.
This week's biggest decliners included Petrol (-6.41%), Elhim Iskra (-5.79%) and Oil & Gas Exploration & production (-3.47%).
