All four indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended the short work week with gains. The SOFIX blue-chip index also erased its losses in 2009.

SOFIX advanced by 0.40%, to 383.39 points today. The index gained 6.94% over the week and is up by 6.9% in 2009.

The broader BG40 closed 2.36% up, at 105.24 points. The index is up by 5.66% in May and is still losing 2.38% of its value in 2009.

Advancers today also included BG REIT (+0.05%, to 39.73 points) and BG TR30 (+0.99%, to 279.97 points). The two indexes advanced by 1.90% and 6.70%, respectively over the week. BG REIT has lost 18.13% of its value in 2009, while BG TR30 is up by 2.62%.

A total of 32 of the companies included in the calculation of BG40 posted weekly advances. Trace Group Hold was the biggest gainer advancing by 20% to an average of 53.78 leva per share.
