Prices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) continued to fluctuate today and the liquid stocks continued to depreciate. Theres was a pressure even on the well performing stocks of infrastructure companies.

Holding Roads advanced by 3.08%, to 3.35 leva per share today. Moststroy gained 4.44%, to 4.71 leva, while Trace Group Hold closed 2.18% down, at 53.80 leva per share. All three companies were posting considerable advances in the early session.

The European Commission decided yesterday to unblock 115 mln euro funding for Bulgaria under the ISPA program. The financing has to be absorbed by 2010.

The SOFIX blue-chip index slipped by 0.60%, to 375.54 points, while the broader BG40 shed 0.08%, to 102.54 points.

BG TR30 was also among today's decliners skidding 0.43% lower, to 275.54 points. BG REIT advanced by 0.03%, to 39.86 points.

BSE's overall turnover came to 1.08 mln leva, while the value of the over-the-counter deals exceeded 750,000 leva as at 3.05 p.m. A total of 74 issues were traded on the day with 26 of the companies posting stock price gains.

Banks also ended today's session mostly lower. Decliners included Central Cooperative Bank (-2.52%, 1.43 leva), First Investment Bank (-4.27%, to 2.44 leva) and Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (-2.69%, to 12.65 leva). Corporate Commercial Bank's stock appreciated by 1.56% to 65.00 leva per share.

Chimimport's stock price went down by 2.17%, to 2.25 leva per share. The rights issued as part of the capital increase of the company depreciated by 57.63%, to 0.03 leva per share.

A total of 1 255 shares in Lead & Zinc Complex traded hands on the day. The stock appreciated by 3.01%, to 11.64 leva per share.

Following a two-day advance Chimco's stock depreciated by 22.86%, to 0.08 leva per share. The other speculative stock in the recent days Kremikovtzi appreciated by 136.36%, to 0.65 leva per share.
