BSE registered a very low turnover today. Total turnover reached 1.24 mln leva, 663 000 leva of which from transactions in bonds.

Indexes closed as follows: SOFIX (-0.71%, 371.59 points), BG40 (+0.07%, 104 points), BGREIT (+2.13%, 40.32 points) and BGTR30 (-0.94%, 104 points).

28 out of the 73 stocks traded today closed with gains.

The most important news today came from Moody's, which said it could downgrade FIBank's financial stability rating. The banks' stock lost 4% today t0 2.33 leva.

FIBank's current rating is D and it may be downgraded as a result of the worsening operating situation in Bulgaria. With the economy going slowly into recession, there may be a growing number of corporate bankruptcies, which may lead to more losses in the corporate creditting portfolios of banks, said Moody's Elena Paniotou.

Central Cooperative Bank and Bulgarian American Credit Bank also posted losses today, of respectively -0.71% to 1.40 leva and -3.75% to 12.72 leva. Corporate Commercial Bank stock was not traded today.

Chimimport closed at 2.25 leva, which is a gain of 0.45%. We remind that the unused rights from the company's capital increase will be auctioned May 29.

Lead and Zinc Complex passed 12 leva, after adding 0.42% to 12.05 leva.

Monbat slipped 1.64% to 4.80 leva. The company released its Q1 report and April report yesterday.

Net sales in April amounted to 6.62 mln leva, which is 55.08% down compared with April 2008. Q1 reports shows the company's sales reach 32.39 mln leva, which is 53.81% down against the same period last year.
