BSE Indexes Post Third Straight Monthly Gain

The indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended today's session in positive territory posting monthly advances in third straight month.
The SOFIX blue-chip index gained 0.76% today, to 379.55 points, while the broader BG40 advanced by 1.01%, to 104.19 points. BG REIT ended May's last session 0.37% up at 40.48 points, while BG TR30 added 0.37% to its value closing at 282.66 points.
SOFIX gained 0.5% on a weekly basis, while BG40 is down 0.61%. BG REIT and BG TR30 advanced by 1.86% and 0.33%, respectively over the week.
The monthly advance of the indexes is as follows: SOFIX (+5.87%), BG40 (+4.61%), BG REIT (+3.82%) and BG TR30 (+7.73%).
SOFIX is up by 5.82% in 2009, while BG TR30 has gained 3.61%. Decliners in 2009 include BG40 (-3.36%) and BG REIT (-16.59%).
A total of 25 of the companies included in the calculation of the BG40 index posted advances over the past week.
Industrial Capital Holding was the biggest gainer. The stock of the company appreciated by 11.2%, to 2.88 leva.
Bulgarska Roza-Sevtopolis is up by 11.11% on a weekly basis to an average of 0.70 leva per share.
Devin was the third biggest gainer this week. The average stock price of the company went up by 9.74% to 2.93 leva per share.
