Sell-offs dominated the last trading session of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) for the month but all four indexes posted gains in September. BG REIT was the best performer advancing by 11.05% over the month.

BG TR30 advanced by 8.36% in September. SOFIX is up by 5.76%, while BG 40 gained 4.73% over the month.

All four indexes posted gains in the first nine months of the year: SOFIX (+33.87%), BG 40 (+22.08%), BG REIT (+1.67%) and BG TR30 (+34.53%).

Three of the indexes ended the last session of the month lower.

The SOFIX blue-chip index slipped by 1.23%, to 480.14 points. BG40 ended 2.12 down at 131.61 points, while BG TR30 lost 0.35% to 367.02 points. BG REIT was the only gainer on the day advancing by 0.65%, to 49.34 points.

BSE's overall turnover came to 4.24 mln leva. A total of 97 issues were traded on the day with 35 of the stocks posting price gains.

A total of 387,904 shares in Central Cooperative Bank traded hands on the day. The stock of the company depreciated by 4.48% to 1.47 leva per share.

Other decliners on the day included First Investment Bank (-1.99%, to 2.95 leva), Corporate Commercial Bank (-5.00%, to 54.63 leva) and Bulgarian-American Credit bank (-2.28%, to 19.80 leva).

Holding Roads shed 2.78%, to 3.50 leva per share. Nearly 13,000 shares in the company changed hands on the day. Moststroy slipped by 0.02%, to 5.00 leva, while Trace Group Hold lost 1.23% to 80.50 leva per share.

Industrial Holding Bulgaria advanced by 1.85% to 2.20 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 211,546 shares.

Etropal closed 1.83% up at 2.39 leva per share after 11,804 shares traded.
