Just minutes before the end of Tuesday's session on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) Holding Roads' stock price shot nearly 12% higher after 100 shares of the company traded hands at a price of 1.619 leva apiece (the day's highest).

The stock price subsequently retrated to 1.585 leva per share (+9.46% for the day), but Holding Roads was among BSE's best performers on the day lagging only behind Etropal (+21.72%, to 1.984 leva per share). A total of 24,197 shares in Holding Roads changed hands on the day.

Holding Roads' stock price spiked on the news that the company and several of its subsidiaries will take part in the construction of Lot 4 of the Trakia motorway.

Moststroy, which will also be part of the infrastructure project, advanced by 4.01%, to 1.87 leva per share. The traded volume on the position amounted to 2 162 shares.

Trace Group Hold's stock price went up by nearly 3% to 49.00 leva per share.

Investors sold off FIBank's stock on the day. A total of 213 148 shares in the bank traded hands. The price of the stock went 2.86% down to 1.904 leva per share.

Central Cooperative Bank shed 3.22% to 1.20 leva per share after 12 785 shares traded.

Corporate Commercial Bank advanced by 1.64% to 62.00 leva per share. Bulgarian-American Credit bank was also among the day's advancers. The stock of the bank appreciated by 1.80% to 10.587 leva per share.

Orgachim closed the day 1.18% higher at 85.998 leva per share. The traded volume on the position amounted to 102 shares.

BSE's overall turnover amounted to 1.73 mln leva. The bond market accounted for nearly 495,000 leva of the figure. A total of 68 issues were traded on the day with 30 of the companies posting stock price gains.

Most of BSE's indexes ended Tuesday's session lower: SOFIX (-0.10%, to 371.22 points), BG REIT (-0.85%, to 38.60 points) and BG TR30 (-0.10%, to 282.97 points).
