BSE saw another negative session today when all four indexes closed on red. After dropping 1.05% to 1119.9 points today SOFIX is now getting close to an 18 month low. On 22 November 2006 the blue chips hit 1111.18 points.

BG40 continued slipping. The indexes lost 1.76% to 304.33 points today which is close to its June 2007 levels. BGREIT stayed unchanged for quite some time in the morning but in the end fell 0.29% to 94.36 points. BGREIT dipped 1.34% to 763.87 points.

The day will also be remembered with the very low turnover – a total of 3.25 mln leva (1.66 mln euros). 34% of the 117 active issued today closed on positive territory. The value of block and other agreed transactions came to 834,000 leva.

120,477 shares in Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria changed hands today, which is the largest turnover on one position for the day. The company is also the most liquid one for the day with 173 transactions. The average price settled at 2.1 leva or 0.94% down from opening.

54,255 shares changed hands on the position of Elana Agricultural Land Opportunity REIT at an average of 2.15 leva apiece. The capitalization of the real estate investment trusts shrunk by 0.46%.

Chimimport was the third most liquid stock with a turnover of 31,123 shares at an average of 8.82 leva (-0.69%).

Holding Roads became the second most liquid stock (after Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria) with 628 shares transferred at an average of 753.45 leva apiece, which is a decline of 3.8%.

Chimimport is third in terms of number of deals (144) for the day, followed by Lead and Zinc Complex.
