No candidates have been registered so far in tomorrow’s tender for the sale of the production site of the insolvent Nova Plama, based in Pleven, court sources said, quoted by BTA.

The site has been visited by dozens of businessmen, but noone has paid the 5.9 mln deposit required to participate in the bidding so far.

The tender is slated to begin at 14.00 PM tomorrow at a starting price of 59 mln leva. All assets related to the production activity (land, buildings, equipment, machines, transport vehicles, farm equipment, materials and the repair park, railway stations where the raw material is delivered) are offered together with the site.

Two tender sessions for the sell-off of the company’s assets, not related to its direct production activity, have been organized so far.

The company has debts of around 300 mln leva. The money raised from the property sale will be used to cover debts to creditors - first to banks and employees, and then to the state.
