A total of 95 issued were traded on BSE today with 42 of the stocks ending the day with gains. BSE's market capitalization came to 20.25 bln leva at the end of the day.
Two of BSE's indexes ended the day in positive territory. The SOFIX traded 1% higher during the session but managed to close with a 0.3-percent gain at 1,024.13 points. The BG TR30 index of best performers in total return was the other advancing index today. The index edged 0.55% up to 685.48 points.
The broader BG40 index slipped by 0.06% to 261.04 points. The BG REIT index of real estate investment trusts skidded 0.01% lower to 90.60 points.
Lead & Zinc Complex's stock advanced by 10.44% to 30.48 leva per share against the backdrop of the lackluster traded on BSE. A total of 1,218 shares in the company changed hands on the day, while the average price of the stock settled at 29.77 leva apiece.
Petrol's stock price went 9.09% up today. The average price of the stock amounted to 9.04 leva per share, while the turnover on the position amounted to 2,125 shares.
Some of BSE's advancers today included Chimimport (+1.78%), Oil & Gas Exploration & Production (+2.63%) and Central Cooperative Bank (+4.2%).
Bulgarian River Shipping was among the biggest decliners on the day. The stock of the company ended the day 13.96% lower, while the average price of the stock stood at 4.07 leva apiece.
There were sell-offs on the position of Sopharma as well. The average price of the stock stood at 4.66 leva per share, while the last deal was sealed at a price 3.21% lower compared to the opening price.
Euroins ended the day on positive turf. The stock of the company advanced by 4.29%, while the average price settled at 7.04 leva per share.
