Economic and Investment Bank Expects 21 Mln Profit in 2007
CB Economic & Investment Bank AD-Sofia (EIBank) expects a net profit of around 21 mln leva in 2007 compared to 15.947 mln leva last year, the bank’s registration document on BSE-Sofia shows.
The bank expects its assets to reach 1.578 bln leva in the end of this year, while total revenues are expected to increase to 575.857 mln leva from 539.47 mln leva the previous year.
In the end of 2006 EIBank served 13,945 credits - a 50% increase from 9,292 credits in the end of 2005. The net value of these credits was 636.94 mln leva versus 362.838 mln leva in the end of 2005 (a growth of 175.9%).
As of 31 December 2006 the amount of the funds invested by the bank in securities (in turnover and investmetn portfolio) was 183.563 mln leva - 8.18% of all securities investments in the bank sector and 10.37% of all investments, made by the banks from group one.
Last year EIBank invested a total of 233.435 mln leva. 183.563 mln leva of the investments went to securities, 48.607 mln leva were invested in long-term tangible assets, and 1.265 mln leva - in long-term non-tangible assets.
Net operating revenues reached 3.258 mln leva in 2006.
NOVATOR FINANCE BULGARIA S.à.r.l., L-2220, Luxembourg controls 48.63% of the bank’s capital. Tzvetelina Karagyozova and Svetoslav Bozhilov hold 24.31% each.
The bank’s shares were last traded on 11 April at 128.00 and 129.85 leva/share.
