Karoll topped the ranking of investment intermediaries in terms of most deals sealed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) in May with a total of 14,256 transactions, the monthly bulletin of the bourse shows. Karoll has topped the ranking every single month since the beginning of the year.

BenchMark Finance and Elana Trading ranked second and third with 9,745 and 7,347 transactions, respectively.

Ug Market and Populiarna Kasa rounded out the top five with 5,151 and 3,494 deals, respectively.

ING Bank topped the ranking in terms of turnover with 56.598 mln leva (28.93 mln euros) worth of deals sealed on BSE in May. Fina-S and Karoll ranked second and third with 32.2 mln leva (16.46 mln euros) and 28.6 mln leva (14.62 mln euros) turnover, respectively.

Elana Trading and First Financial Brokerage House, which transferred securities for 24.6 mln leva and 22.7 mln leva, respectively, rounded out the the top five.

A total of 41,915 deals for 29.62 mln securities with a total value of 188.7 mln leva (96.48 mln euros) were sealed on BSE in May. The average daily turnover amounted to 9.438 mln leva (4.82 mln euros).
