Bulgarian-Investment Fund sold today 49.99% in the capital of Bulgarian-American Credit Bank to Allied Irish Banks plc, in compliance with an agreement signed on 21 February 2008. The price tag of the OTC transaction stood at a little over 216 mln euros (422.8 mln leva), or 67 leva per share.

The completion of the deal sparked a lot of interest on the position and 57,503 shares had changed hands by the end of the session. The average price was 58.56 leva, which is not a significant change from opening. Daily turnover on the position reached 3.37 mln leva (1.72 mln euros).

Indexes ended mixed. BG40 climbed 0.22% to 251.24 points, while SOFIX lost 0.28% to 1027.99. Both indicators are almost unchanged from last Friday.

There was no definite trend for the stocks of major companies today. Sopharma slipped 3.05% to 4.35 leva, while Doverie United Holding added 2.45% to 7.10 leva.

Monbat dropped 1.28% today, although the stock still manages to stay above 12 leva (12.02 leva).

Orgachim lost 2.56% at a turnover of 253 shares.

Seercoop Gamza Holding plunged by more than 20% after a disappointing H1 report. After massive selling, the stock closed at 1.67 leva.

The contract Trace Group Hold signed for the construction of a part of Sofia Underground was not enough to calm down investors after the company released unconvincing consolidated results. Shares fell 1.78% to 110 leva a piece. Several transactions were made at 107 leva.

BSE's total turnover today stood at 6.78 mln leva (3.46 mln euros).
