I. Hristova: Stock Market is Oversold
&format=webp)
The indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended yesterday's session in negative territory but there was no panic selling. The market is definitely oversold and the bad news are no longer accepted so emotionally by the market players, Irina Hristova of Ever investment intermediary told Profit.bg.
Yesterday's advance of the European indexes and the rebound of the US market will have an influence on today's trade on BSE.
The concerns over the deepening of the global crisis and its reflection in Bulgaria are still the driving force, but the number of market participants tempted by the low stock prices is growing.
Hristova forecasts no sharp fluctuations today and a modest increase in the price of most of the traded stocks.
BSE's indexes ended yesterday's session down, following the decline of the global markets and especially Wall Street's slump on Monday. The indexes, however, posted smaller declines compared to the developed markets and especially the US and Asian indexes.
The indexes are posting gains in today's early session. The SOFIX is up by 1.10% more than two hours after the start of trading, while the broader BG40 advanced by 0.97%.
The sentiment was definitely influenced by the strong performance of the global markets yesterday, when the major US indexes advanced by more than 3% each.
