SOFIX Ends Five-Day Losing Streak

The indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended today's session mixed. The SOFIX blue-chip index advanced by 0.66%, to 358.26 points to put an end to its five-day losing streak. The BG40 index of the most traded stocks advanced by a modest 0.04%, to 107.45 points.
BGTR30 and BGREIT closed the session lower. BGREIT slipped by 1.46%, to 46.41 points, while BGTR30 shed 0.38%, to 272.03 points.
BSE's overall turnover amounted to 11.5 mln leva on the day. The value of the bond transactions accounted for 8.63 mln leva of the figure. The turnover of the over-the-counter market came to 7.21 mln leva as at 2:40 p.m.
A total of 87 issues were traded on the day, with 33 of the companies posting stock price gains.
Synergon Holding recorder the highest traded volume on segment A of BSE's Official market today after the transfer of 88,605 shares. The stock of the company appreciated by 0.72%, to 2.09 leva per share.
A total of 24,204 shares in Industrial Holding Bulgaria traded hands on the day. The stock depreciated by 1.85%, to 1.54 leva per share. Albena Invest Holding was the biggest loser on the segment today. The stock price of the company went down by 4.97%, to 3.8 leva per share.
The biggest gainer on BSE's Official market today was Holding Varna, whose stock appreciated by 18.46%, to 11.97 leva per share. Some of today's bigger decliners included Sparky Eltos (-12.5%, to 1.75 leva per share), Monbat (-4.01%, to 4.55 leva per share), Katex (-5.00%, to 2.28 leva per share) and Doverie United Holding (-2.71%, to 6.00 leva per share).
Banking stocks also ended today's session mixed. Central Cooperative Bank advanced by 1.52%, to 1.14 leva per share. The turnover on the position came to 220,101 shares. First Investment Bank slipped by 0.46%, to 2.61 leva per share.
Corporate Commercial Bank's stock price remained unchanged at 65 leva per share. Bulgarian-American Credit Bank's stock gained 2.83%, to 12.34 leva per share on the day.
Infrastrructure companies also closed today's session mixed. Holding Roads advanced by 4.69%, to 3.35 leva per share. Moststroy's stock price slumped by 12.31%, to 3.41 leva per share. Trace Group Hold's stock price remained unchanged at 38 leva per share.
