The indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) posted its second straight decline this week with SOFIX and BG40 lost over 2% of their value each.

The BG40 index shed 2.36% dropping to a new all-time low of 87.37 points. The SOFIX blue-chip index lost 2.10%, to 268.56 points.

BGREIT and BGTR30 ended the day 0.52% and 1.83% lower, at 40.29 and 193.31 points, respectively.

BSE's total turnover exceeded 2.31 mln leva today, while the value of the over-the-counter deals amounted to 1.16 mln leva as at 2:45 p.m.

A total of 81 issues were traded on the day, with 18% of the companies posting stock price gains.

The stocks traded on Segment A of BSE's Official market ended mostly higher. Albena Invest Holding was the only decliner slipping by 0.33%, to 3.02 leva per share. The traded volume on the position of Industrial Holding Bulgaria totaled 5,704 shares. The stock of the company appreciated by 2.38%, to 1.08 leva per share. Synergon Holding advanced by 3.38%, to 1.50 leva per share.

Doverie United Holding was one of the few advancers on the day. The stock of the company added 9.57%, to 3.80 leva per share. The turnover on the position came to 4,660 shares.

Monbat was among today's decliners losing 8.02%, to 3.73 leva per share. The market capitalization of Industrial Capital Holding declined by 18.89%, to 1.46 leva per share in thin volume trade.

A total of 1,000 shares in Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC) traded hands on the dayThe stock slumped by 59.75%, to 1.61 leva per share.

Chimimport skidded 2.42% lower, to 1.25 leva per share. The turnover on the position came to 34,715 shares.

First Investment Bank was the biggest decliner in the banking sector today. The stock of the company depreciated by 3.60%, to 1.18 leva per share. Central Cooperative Bank (-1.99%, to 0.84 leva), Corporate Commercial Bank (-1.96%, to 75.00 leva) and Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (-0.61%, to 8.20 leva) also ended the day lower.

Trace Group Hold was the biggest decliner among the infrastructure companies today. The stock of the company depreciated by 7.01%, to 25.20 leva per share, while Holding Roads' stock price went down by 4.00%, to 1.92 leva per share. Moststroy's stock price remained unchanged at 1.90 leva per share.
