The general shareholders' meeting of Orgachim will be held today. The shareholders will discuss the signing of a new contract between Romanian company Policolor and the Rousse-based paint and varnish maker.

The entire paint and varnish production in Romania will be transferred at Orgachim's plant in Rousse.

The Romanian company will continue to produce only the car paints under the Klar brand and industrial coatings. Orgachim' sees a 15 mln euro increase in export revenue annually as a result of the new contract.

The final day for sealing deals in Chimimport's stock which will enable the shareholders to participate in the upcoming general shareholders' meeting of the company is also set for today (February 23).

Chimimport's shareholders will put to vote a proposal for the issuing of preferred shares with guaranteed and/or additional dividend with an option for the repurchasing of the shares. The meeting is scheduled for March 11.

The shareholders will also discuss changes allowing the company to be able to raise its capital to up to 250 mln leva in the next five years.

The issue price of the new shares will be set by the Management board of the company.

The general shareholders meeting of Vaptsarov Holding will be held on Friday (February 27).

The SOFIX blue-chip index shed 5.81% last week, while BG40 lost 4.72%.
