The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) is in for another slightly negative session today with low turnovers and lack of investor interest, which is something that we are used to in the last few months, Detelin Yordanov, investment consultant at Optima Asset Management, told Profit.bg.
Against the backdrop of the slumping foreign capital market in the last few days, the SOFIX is hovering between 260 and 270 points and significant changes are not likely today, Yordanov added.
The SOFIX blue-chip index slipped by 0.30%, closing at 260.00 points. The BG40 index of the most traded stocks skidded 1.81% lower to an all-time low of 84.30 points.
BGTR30 slipped by 0.19%, to 187.68 points, while BGREIT was the only gainer on the day advancing by 1.28%, to 40.50 points.
BSE's overall turnover amounted to 668,269 leva on the day. A total of 61 issues were traded yesterday with 24 of the stocks posting price gains.
