This is the last week for the acquisition of stock in 12 companies on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange' which grant the new shareholders dividend rights.

These include: Investment properties REIT (1.558 leva), Druzhba Staklarski Zavodi (0.31 leva), Stara Planina Hold (0.00877 leva), Unipharm (0.60 leva), Odessos Ship Repaiur Yard (1.90 leva), Alfa Credit SPV (0.638 leva), M+S Hydraulic (0.063 leva), Astera Cosmetics (0.755 leva), Kaolin (0.15 leva), Hydraulic Elements & Systems (0.0842 leva), Intercapital Property Development REIT (1.1562 leva) and Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage AD (0.75 leva dividend for preferred shares).

Two of the public companies will start paying dividend for 2008. Alfa Property 1 REIT and Astera Cosmetics will distribute 1.808 and 0.755 leva dividend, respectively.

The final date for the holding general shareholders' meetings is set for June 30.

Ten of the companies will vote for the distribution of dividend. These are: Blagoevgrad BT (1.25 leva), Bulgartabac Holding (3.60 leva), Transinvestment REIT (0.23 leva), Universal Properties REIT (1.57 leva), Agroenergy REIT (0.24 leva), Capital Management REIT (3.41 leva), Energoremont Holding (0.14 leva), Mekom (0.06 leva), Ulpina REIT (0.13 leva) и Real Estates Investment Fund REIT-Sofia (0.479 leva).

The shareholders of Bulgarian Telecommunications Company will decide in favor of the distribution of 0.51 leva dividend per share.

The SOFIX blue-chip index lost 1.96%, to 354.20 points last week, while the broader BG40 shed 2.79%, to 99.62 points.
