The SOFIX blue-chip index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) lost 3.23% of its value on the day to close below the 500-point level - 489.82 points.

The other three indexes also ended the day lower: BG 40 (-2.39%, to 132.53 points), BG REIT (-1.39%, to 48.11 points) and BG TR30 (-2.82%, to 365.05 points).

BSE's overall turnover came to 8.8 mln leva. Deals in corporate bonds accounted to for the bulk of the figure. A total of 102 issues were traded on the day with 23 of the stocks posting price gains.

Devin's stock depreciated by 6.15% to end the day at 3.05 leva per share. Devin announced an agreement under which Advent International will acquire nearly 75% of the shares of the company.

Sopharma's stock shed 5.87% on the day, to 4.15 leva per share after 114 540 shares traded.

Bulgarska-Roza Sevtopolis plunged by 5.81%, to 1.46 leva per share.

Banking stocks ended today's session mixed. Decliners included Central Cooperative Bank (-2.73%, to 1.60 leva), First Investment Bank (-3.84%, to 3.18 leva) and Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (-3.81%, to 20.68 leva). Corporate Commercial Bank advanced by 2.15%, to 55.98 leva.

Other decliners on the day included Trace Group Hold (-1.56%, to 80.72 leva) and Holding Roads (-1.88%, to 3.75 leva).

Moststroy advanced by 0.34%, to 5.35 leva per share. The traded volume on the position amounted to 2,437 shares.

Stara Planina Hold slipped by 1.96%, to 2.00 leva. The subsidiaries of the company also ended the day lower: Hydraulic Elements & Systes (-8.47%, to 5.40 leva), Elhim Iskra (-6.98%, to 2.00 leva) and M+S Hydraulic (-2.85%, to 6.02 leva).

Euroins shed 3.50% to 1.87 leva, while Eurohold Bulgaria lost 6.01%, to 1.63 leva per share.

Bulgartabac Holding advanced by 9.36% to 25.70 leva per share on the day.
