The indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) got off to a poor start to the week. BG40 was the biggest decliner slipping by 1.91% to 118.23 points.

SOFIX lost 0.95% to 436.40 points, while BG TR30 ended the day 1.24 down to 334.21 points. BG REIT shed 0.28% to 45.49 points.

BSE's overall turnover came a notch below 361,000 leva. A total of 50 issues were traded on the day with 10 of the stocks posting price gains.

Some of today's advancers included Sopharma (+0.40%, to 4.046 leva), Bulgarska Roza-Sevtopolis (+1.31%, to 1.469 leva) and Medica (+3.00%, to 1.720 leva).

Stara Planina Hold (-2.59%, to 2.14 leva) and Elhim Iskra (-2.45%, to 1.95 leva) ended the day lower.

There were also sell-offs on the position of Chimimport. The common stock of the company depreciated by 2.47% to 2.76 leva per share, while the preferred stock of slipped by 1.06% to 2.80 leva per share.
