Dacia Produces 1 mln Logan Units at Mioveni

Romania's Automobile Dacia produced at its Mioveni plant the 1 millionth Logan car, six years and four months after the launch of the "5,000-euro car", as the first car manufactured in Piteşti in the Renault era was initially promoted, Ziarul Financiar reported.
The total value of Logan model production in all these years can be put at around 8 bln euro, considering Romanians are this year spending around 2 bln euro on cars, imported, domestically produced and used ones.
The 1 million cars make up the total production of Dacia Logan model in Mioveni, with the four versions, sedan, MCV, pick-up and Van, not including Logan models assembled in Morocco, Casablanca.
Currently, almost 1,400 vehicles are currently produced each day at Dacia, with production set to reach almost 330,000 units this year, of which over 90% will be exported. In overall production, the biggest weight is held by Sandero, followed by Duster and Logan MCV.
