The rapid rise of Bulgarian blue-chip index SOFIX was followed by a rapid fall this Monday when the index lost 4% and closed at 407.46 points. Indexes started the day on positive territory in the morning but this trend was later reversed.

The other three indexes on BSE closed as follows BG40 at 128.33 points (-0.06%), BGREIT at 46.78 points (-1.35%), and BGTR30 at 342.91 points (-1.49%).

Total turnover stood at 4.26 million leva, of which 2.77 million leva came from trade in corporate bonds and more specifically those issued by Bulgarian Development Bank. 1 400 bonds traded hands on the position at a nominal price of 1 000 euro.

73 stocks were traded today, of which 23 closed on positive turf and eight remained unchanged.

The most liquid stocks on BSE were among the top losers today. Chimimport common shares, for example, wiped out 6.80% and closed at 3.121 leva/share. The company's privileged shares lost 3.79% to 3.121 leva.

Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria lost more than 6%. The final deal on the position was at a price of 0.667 leva/share. Kaolin closed at 5.202 leva, which was a 4.74% drop for the day.

Stara Planina Hold price also suffered from today's sales. The company's capitalization fell by nearly 9% to 3.55 leva.

Sales also affected the stock of Central Cooperative Bank (-3.37%, 1.52 leva/share), First Investment Bank (-5.31%, 2.941 leva), Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (-2.17%, 9 leva). On the other hand, Corporate Commercial Bank saw its stock add 1.33% to 76 leva.

Bulland Investments also wasn't affected by the massive selling and gained 10.84% to 0.777 leva.

Bulgartabak Holding remained flat at 30 leva. The Privatization Agency told Profit.bg that more details on the company's privatization will be made public on Wednesday.
