The Bulgarian-Austrian Wind Energy consortium presented in Shabla (on the Black Sea) a project for a wind energy park to be erected in the Northeastern part of the municipality, the hosts said on Thursday.
The park will be constructed on land plots owned by the consortium. The project is in compliance with EU legislation and provides for the erection of 125 wind generators, worth 280,000 euro each. The total value of the investment is 300 million euro, the municipality added.
The investors are also ready to finance the construction of a substation that could be connected to the energy grid of the country. The consortium consists of two Bulgarian and two Austrian companies and is to be registered by a court headquartered in Shabla.
