The fluctuation on the stock exchange continued all week. The situation was similar throughout October, when the September rally ended and gave way to a correction starting in November and picking up pace in mid-December.

Three of the four official indexes on BSE ended the six-days business week on negative territory. BG40 dropped 1.63% to 504.76 points, the lowest since September 26.

BGREIT fell below its base 100 points again. The index lost 1.25% to 99 points, while BGTR30 declined 1.08% to 1070.74.

SOFIX is the only advancing indicator, in spite of some shifts today. The blue chips eked 0.45% to 1716.2, which is mainly due to Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (+3.48% to an average of 76.62 leva), CCB (+0.8% to 10.08 leva), and Sparky Eltos (+2.99% to 16.19 leva). 143,277 shares of Petrol changed hands at an average of 5 leva, which is no change on the position.

38 of today's 137 active issues advanced.

BSE's turnover reached 18.214 mln leva (9.312 mln euros). Today's center of attention was the debut of Trace Group Hold. 25,428 shares changed hands at an average of 302.42 leva, compared to the debuting price of 110.5 lea.

Trade on the position of BulLand Investments was very active. It emerged today that the company has acquired three new properties in the village of Obelya near the capital Sofia. Shares were declining in the morning, but managed to end the day unchanged settling at 1.24 leva. A total of 256,483 shares were transferred today.

Oil and Gas Exploration and Production lost 4.6% to an average of 13.26 leva. 164,160 shares changed hands on the position, compared with 151,500 shares on the position of Bulgaria Properties REIT, which fell 4.78% to 1.99 leva.

In spite of news on acquisition of companies in Albania and Turkey, Kaolin fell 0.23% to an average of 17.04 leva.

On a weekly basis, Petrol was the biggest gainer in BG40. The stock added 15.21% to 5 leva. Albena Invest Holding is second, adding 5.17% this week to 21.34 leva. Severcoop Gamza Holding rose 4.68% to 4.25 leva.

On the other end of the scale were Industrial Capital Holding, which lost 11.18% to 10.33 leva, and Polimeri, declining 8.71% to an average of 10.59 leva.
